I swam at the 11th Down Syndrome Swimming World Championships in the T21 Mens Senior Category which is for people with Down syndrome (DS), aged between 18-24years.
There are 3 categories - Junior, Senior and Masters. There are also people with Mosaic Down syndrome and they compete with us but have a different category too.
The swimming champs are part of the 2nd Trisome Games for people with Down syndrome. Other sports includes gymnastics, futsal, tennis, judo, table tennis and basketball.
